WHERE EVERYONE BELONGS
We are:
Biblically Grounded, Discipleship Focused, Relationship Centered, Integrity Minded, and Family Friendly. Body of believers, seeking to connect with Jesus and Share His Message with the World through our words and Actions!
This week, our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastating flooding that has impacted Kerrville and the surrounding areas of Kerr County. The rising waters of the Guadalupe River have brought destruction, loss, and deep sorrow to many families and communities. Reports confirm multiple fatalities, missing persons—including children from a local summer camp—and widespread evacuations.
While we are grateful to report that none of our Texas Conference churches in the area have sustained damage, we are deeply mindful of the suffering experienced by our neighbors. As a faith community, we are called to stand with those in crisis—not only in prayer but in action.
We extend our heartfelt prayers to the families who have lost loved ones, to those still searching for missing persons, and to the first responders working tirelessly in dangerous conditions. We also offer our support and resources to assist in recovery efforts as needs are identified. Our Adventist Community Services teams are on alert and ready to respond where help is most needed.
Let us continue to lift up the Kerrville community in our prayers and remain attentive to how we can be the hands and feet of Jesus during this time of hardship.
In Christ’s service,
